The Board of Directors of Qatar Players Association has elected a new President and Vice President during its first meeting after the General Assembly. Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Kuwari has been elected as the President and Mr. Ibrahim Al-Ghanim has been elected as the Vice President.
Mr. Abdulrhaman Al-Kuwari, the QPA President said “I would like to thank and express my gratitude to Mr. Salman Al-Ansari for founding QPA and leading it during the past four years.” Mr. Al-Kuwari added “the change in the Board of Directors will not affect its policies towards its partners and we will continue to work on strengthen these relationships.”
Mr. Ibrahim Al-Ghanim, the QPA Vice President said “we will strive to continue the founder and former President, Mr. Salman Al-Ansari, endeavour to focus on protecting players’ rights, enhance our relationships with our partners and cooperate with the sports media to promote awareness.”
It is worth noting that Qatar Players Association General Assembly has convened to elect two members replacing Mr. Salman Al-Ansari and Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Sulaiti who have resigned after serving around four years with Qatar Players Association.
