During the general assembly meeting, the Qatari Players Association elected seven members to its board of directors. The members are: “Meshal Mubarak, Meshal Abdullah, Ibrahim Al-Ghanem, Abdulrahman Al-Kwari, Saud Al-Hajeri, Bilal Mohammed, Wosam Rizk”
After the general assembly meeting, the board of directors held a meeting to elect the president and vice president. Al-Kwari was elected president, and Al-Ghanem was elected vice president, in addition, Hussein Al-Rumaihi was appointed as the association’s player affairs officer, and Sayed Al-Basheer was appointed as the association’s legal officer.
*Al-Kwari : The association’s role is to solve players’ problems*
Abdulrahman Al-Kwari, the newly elected president of the Qatari Players Association, outlined the association’s role in protecting and promoting the interests of players in Qatar. He stressed that the association’s role is to regulate the relationship between players and clubs, provide players with assistance and support, and solve players’ problems.
Al-Kwari also announced several new initiatives that the association will be implementing, including:
• A new award for the best player in the second division, to be voted on by players
• Intervention in solving the problem of player salaries in the second division
Al-Kwari said that the association is committed to working with all stakeholders in Qatari football to ensure that players have the best possible opportunities to succeed.

Ibrahim Al-Ghanem, the newly elected vice president of the Qatari Players Association, expressed his gratitude to the players for their trust. He also stressed that the board of directors is committed to working hard to solve players’ problems and protect their rights.
Al-Ghanem also noted that the association has made significant progress in solving players’ problems in recent years. He attributed this success to the fact that the board members are former and current players who understand the players’ challenges firsthand.
