QPA Board of Directors members, Ibrahim Al Ghamin announced that circular 385 has been issued without any consultation with QPA or discussion. Such behavior contradicts with the transparency principals and the presence of all related parties in the meeting referred to by the Chairman of the Competition Committee at QFA.<\/p>\n
He added that restricting players movement after the end of the contract terms, in spite of the increase of the appraisal ceiling, infringes the general principals laid down at Fifa\u2019s Regulation on the Status and Transfer of Players, which stipulations have to be considered and borne when each national football association drafts its own. In addition, we cannot accept any provision that would restrict players\u2019 freedom to move because it conflicts with the natural rights of each human in relation to freedom of work and movement and it will eliminate the player\u2019s will.<\/p>\n
Ibrahim Al Ghamin said that QFA and QSL know about the additional contracts signed between the clubs and their players. Such problem came to life due to the ineffectiveness of QSL current system and it is demonstrated through circular 384 which required all club to hand over to QFA its additional contracts without any disciplinary action.<\/p>\n
And he added that the timing of this circular (in the middle of the winter transfer period) did not take into consideration the players\u2019 interests and it only served the interests of the clubs.<\/p>\n
Ibrahim concluded that the instability of QFA\u2019s and QSL\u2019s rules and regulations is causing instability got the players and both entities should not overpass QPA in issuing decisions that impacts the players directly.
\nQPA Board of Directors member, Ibrahim Al Ghamin demanded that QFA reconsiders their decision and set in the negotiation table with QPA.<\/p>\n
